Day 29:Measure yourself! The best way to gauge your weight loss and body shaping progress is by measuring yourself and/or checking in with how you feel and how your clothes fit. Sure you can step on a scale if you wish, but I’m pretty certain the scale says I weigh close to the same as I did 3 months ago, yet a lot has changed in my shape and size in the past three months. So go ahead and pull out a measuring tape and wrap it around your bust, true waist (the smallest part of your waist, usually located in line with your belly button), and hips (the largest area when you stand in the anatomically correct position, feet together, facing forward) and write those numbers down. You may either already know how far you’ve come (hello! Pregnancy! I think I measured around 54″ inches around! That’s a lot of progress. And yes, I am 100% going to use that number as my comparison!), or perhaps you still have yet to attain your goal. Having something to reflect back on, helps put things in perspective and allows you to be accountable and appreciate all your hard work!
